Under the assessment of the President of the Banking Association of Georgia, a new rule of crediting of physical bodies enacted for commercial banks since the 1st of November, will completely change the existing principle of crediting.
As Dzneladze stated in his interview to “Sakmiani Dila”, provisions are forced by the National Bank. Lobbyst of the banks sees suspending of the new rule of crediting of physical body as an outcome. “In fact, upon implementation of this rules, the banks were not able to adapt with this mode; it is expected that for the recent 12 months this regulation will cause a significant decreasing of consumable credits; under the current assumptions approximately 40-50% of citizens who enjoy credits today will not receive them in future, for them this procedure will be prolonged”, – stated Dzneladze. According to him, consultations are held with the NBG, however significant changes are not expected.
