The President of the Banking Association Alexander Dzneladze states that the banking regulation enacted since the 1st of January caused definite problems.
As he explained to bm.ge, they collect and process the problems detected in January.
“Appealing with January will be incorrect as it is characterized by a high seasonality and is extracted from the year as well as characterized with serious problems on a yearly basis.
We expect for a global by the end of the first quarter. As of today, definite products are suspended, and the approval of the products existing in relation to physical bodies are decreased by half”, – says Alexander Dzneladze
As for the concrete issues, according to Alexander Dzneladze, the problem was caused by the regulation considering inspection of incomes of the credit guarantor.
“If the Company is recognized as of a high risk or provision of the body is used, as well as additional provisions, today, this process is very complicated as incomes of the guarantor should be inspected and the coefficient adjusted; in practice it is impossible to make this. In the part of provision in case if a physical body suggests a guarantee here we have a problem as well. Here, the coefficient should be recalculated or this property should be the second and without residents”, – says Alexander Dzneladze.
