Regulations planned for low-income physical bodies are necessary, but strict for average and high-income bodies. This was a respond in the part of commercial banks in connection with the statement of the Minister of Finance on a new rule of crediting of physical bodies.

Besides, according to commercial banks, a share of loans issued without approval of incomes in their portfolio is very low.

“This regulation for low-income citizens is important and should be implemented. It had to be implemented earlier. The 50% threshold being on the way had to be mad. However, we consider that for average and high income citizens this regulation is stringent. In other part we completely agree with the National Bank and the Minister of Finance that this regulation should be necessarily implemented in relation to the low-income citizens”, – states the General Director of the TBC Bank Vakhtang Butskrikidze.

“In fact, the bank sector always avoided toxic loans, it will avoid them in future and will try to prevent this problem in the banking and financial sector”, – states the President of the Banking Association Alexander Dzneladze.

We’d like to remind you that the Minister of Finance Ivane Machavariani stated that citizens used to take toxic loans which, in fact, had not been a relieve in the long-termed period.
