On May 30, 2019, the Banking Association of Georgia participated in the International Regional Investment Forum - "More Investments in the Regions of Georgia", organized by the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which was held in Kakheti region, in Radisson Collection Tsinandali.
The forum was opened by the State Representative in the Kakheti region Irakli Kadagishvili. The Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze, the Vice Prime Minister of Georgia and the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Maia Tskitishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Natia Turnava, Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili and Georgian Business Ombudsman Irakli Lekvinadze addressed the attending audience.
Representatives of more than 20 foreign and 150 Georgian companies attended the event. They had an opportunity to discuss prospects of cooperation.
Three-panel meetings were held within the framework of the Forum, the main directions of which were agriculture potential in Kakheti region, as well as investment opportunities in tourism, renewable energy and natural resources sectors.
The Forum was organized with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, "Produce in Georgia" Agency and Kakheti Regional Development Agency (DMO- domestic management organization).
