Based on the recommendations of the member banks, a Personal Data Protection Committee was established within the Georgian Banking Association.

On April 3, 2024, the committee held its first meeting, elected a chairperson, and approved the committee's regulations. The members of the committee agreed on the principles and conditions for further collaboration.
